Marine Rescue Dampier is coordinated and run by volunteers, all of which work full time in the community. All of our members donate their time and energy to provide assistance and preserve life at sea. Volunteers assume various roles according to their abilities, interests and availabilities.  

 

We provide all training for our volunteers as skippers, crews, radio operators and all other persons concerned in search and rescue operations. We coordinate extra training opportunities, including St John first aid, long and short range radio qualifications and other marine educational activities to improve the safety for the boating public.

Marine Rescue Dampier has members with backgrounds including Trades, Government, Engineering, Marine, Commerce and others!
